First classes in music initiation at the state Music School of Rio de Janeiro, learned piano until 1972, then flute as main instrument as well as music theory
1974 - 1982
First chamber music concerts and video recordings for the TV
1977 - 1982
Starts at the Villa-Lôbos Intitut of Music with the saxophone under clarinetist and saxophonist PAULO MOURA and composition under MARLENE FERNANDEZ
1978
Final examinations for the flute under Lenir Siqueira and CELSO WOLTZENLOGEL plus harmony at the professional level, begin of the graduation course at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in flute, harmony and music history subjects
1979 - 1982
Performs with the Chamber Orchester of the Federal University of Rio, participation in studio sessions and compositions for spots and documentaries
1981
Foundation of the group ZABELE with MARCIO ALVES, FLAVIO GOULART - brazilian jazz, also compositions and arrangements
1982
Moves to France with the above mentionned group
1984 - 1986
Member of the SUNRISE ORCHESTRA - salsa & latin jazz
1985 - 1987
SAMAMBAIA with WOLFGANG NETZER and MARCIO ALVES - brazilian jazz, also compositions and arrangements
